How to Study the Bible

The purpose of this class is to help you learn how to be a discoverer of The Word by understanding the methodical process of Inductive Bible study. Through learning this inductive step-by-step method and practicing its principles you will obtain skills needed to grow in your confidence as a discoverer of scripture.

Learning Objectives

• Learn the steps of the Inductive Bible Study method

• Grow in confidence of studying Scripture

• Understand the benefits of group study

• Develop a plan of continued discovering

Course Materials and Requirements

• Bible with Concordance and Cross Referencing (preferably NIV)

• A personal printed copy of class handouts (emailed to students a week before class)

• Colored pencils

• Minimal practice takeaways each week – not more than 30 minutes in between sessions
