Upcoming EVENTS

celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with us | April 17 to 20
We believe in time spent with God, with others, and serving others.
Join us as we gather with our church body and our community in these upcoming events.

Youth Night of Worship
Hey students—join us for a night of worship, good food, and time together! We’ll kick things off with dinner, then spend time connecting with God through music, prayer, and visio divina (that’s a way of reflecting on images to help us see how God might be speaking to us).
All 6th–12th graders are welcome—bring a friend and come hang out!

Women’s Ministry Brunch
Join us for a morning of connection, encouragement, and delicious food at our Women’s Brunch! Whether you’re new to Good Shepherd or have been here for years, this is a wonderful opportunity to gather with other women, enjoy meaningful conversation, and be refreshed in community.
Bring a friend and come hungry for both food and fellowship—we can't wait to see you there! We kindly ask for a $15 payment to cover the cost of the delicious brunch.

Grandparenting Lunch & Fellowship
Join us for a time of connection and encouragement! Enjoy a delicious lunch as we gather to grow in faith and purpose as grandparents.
Following lunch, we’ll feature an inspiring video from the Legacy Coalition Summit, highlighting Miles McPherson, the pastor of the Rock Church in San Diego, former defensive back for the San Diego Chargers, author, actor, and motivational speaker. His experience as both a professional football player and grandparent, brings a unique and dynamic perspective on how we can pass the faith onto our grandkids.
We kindly ask for $10 per person to cover the lunch.
Come be encouraged, equipped, and uplifted in your role as a grandparent.

FLOCK Community Breakfast
Start your Sunday with breakfast, playtime, and community! Families with children birth through 5th grade are invited to our FLOCK Community Breakfast—a special morning gathering for FLOCK children and their families. We'll enjoy a casual breakfast together out on the play yard, with plenty of time to connect, catch up, and let the kids play before the 10:00 am service.
Come hungry, bring the whole family, and kick off your Sunday with joy and fellowship! Gluten-free options provided.

Men's Breakfast
Join us for Good Shepherd’s Men’s Breakfast this March as we welcome Mike Ebbing, a longtime Good Shepherd member with an incredible story to share. Some may remember Mike’s previous talk on the 50th anniversary of the Watergate Break-In. This time, he’s taking a more personal approach, reflecting on his faith journey in a presentation titled:
“27-50: After Nixon, Before Jesus”
Mike will share his powerful testimony about how he spent 27 years ignoring Jesus' call—even as God orchestrated moments in his life—and how everything changed when he finally opened his heart to Christ. Now, after 50 years of walking with Jesus, Mike will reflect on the challenges, blessings, and unwavering faith that have shaped his journey.
With a unique background serving in the White House Communications Agency from 1970-72 under President Nixon, Mike’s story weaves together history, faith, and personal transformation. He’ll take us back to his early years, his time at the Nixon White House—including fascinating insights from historic events—and how, through it all, God had a plan for his life.
Don’t miss this engaging and inspiring morning of faith, fellowship, and breakfast!
Date: Saturday, March 8
Time: 8:30 am
Location: Good Shepherd's Youth Room
All men are welcome—invite a friend and join us for a morning that promises great food, great company, and a story of redemption you won’t forget!

Adult Bible Study in Hebrews
Sundays at 9:10 am
Discovery Room
Join us during Community Hours on Sundays as we begin a new Max Lucado study on the book of Hebrews. The Jewish believers were torn between their new faith in Jesus and their old ways rooted in Old Testament routines and rituals. They were tempted to go back to their familiar life that seemed "good enough". The author of Hebrews shows that when Jesus came the "best got better".
Come join us as we learn and share in this wonderful study!
