Eggstravaganza Servant Leader Interest
Easter Eggstravaganza is one of our favorite ways to love and serve our community. Each year, families from all over gather for a joyful day filled with laughter, connection, and the hope of Easter—and it all happens because of Servant Leaders like you.
Whether you’re helping behind the scenes with event prep, welcoming families as a friendly greeter, guiding little ones through games and crafts, or serving as a parking attendant who sets the tone from the moment people arrive, your presence matters. When you serve, you help create a safe, fun, and meaningful space where families feel seen, welcomed, and loved.

Easter Eggstravaganza
Spring is here, and we’re celebrating with a joy-filled Easter Eggstravaganza! Families with kids up to 5th grade are invited to a morning of Easter fun, including:
Bounce Houses & Carnival Games
Face Painting
Petting Zoo
Photo Ops
Easter Egg Hunt (for up to 5th grade)
This is a community event, and we’d love for you to invite your neighbors, friends, and family to join the fun!
In place of an attendance fee, we invite you to bring school supplies as a donation to support local students. Items requested include reams of paper (colored, white, cardstock), box of tissues, baby wipes, sponges (non-abrasive), ziploc Sandwich bags, and black expo Markers (any size).

Women's Brunch
Join us for a relaxed and welcoming morning at Women’s Brunch—a space to connect, laugh, and be encouraged alongside other women of Good Shepherd. Whether you’re brand new or have been part of our community for years, this gathering is a chance to slow down, enjoy great food, and build meaningful relationships.
Bring a friend and come ready for both delicious bites and genuine conversation—we’d love to see you there!
Childcare is available for children age 4 and under for $10 per child. Please be sure to register in advance to reserve childcare.
Ash Wednesday Worship

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent—a season of reflection and renewal as we prepare our hearts for Easter. Join us for worship at 12:00 PM or 6:30 PM as we pause, pray, and remember our need for God’s grace.
Both services will offer a more simplified and reflective atmosphere this year, creating space for Scripture, prayer, and the imposition of ashes. Together, we will enter a meaningful time of worship that centers us in Christ and sets the tone for the Lenten journey ahead.
Preschool Restaurant Night: The Stand
Take a night off from cooking and join us at The Stand! A portion of all sales will go directly to support Good Shepherd Preschool. Our GSP teachers will be at the Irvine location from 4:30–7:30pm, making it a fun and special chance to see familiar faces outside of Good Shepherd. Come enjoy dinner, connect with preschool families, and support a great cause!

Looking to grow in your faith and build meaningful relationships? Our Young Adult Life Groups are welcoming communities for ages 18 to 30ish that gather weekly for fellowship, Bible study, and life-giving conversations centered on God’s Word.
This winter, two groups will meet weekly beginning January 27 & 29, continuing through the week of April 5:
Tuesdays | 6:00–7:30 pm
Thursdays | 7:00–8:30 pm
By signing up, you’ll be committing to the night you select for the full session (January–April).

Women's Rest & Restore
Step away from the noise of daily life and settle into a morning of peace, prayer, and restoration. Women’s Rest & Restore is a gentle sound bath experience that blends quiet worship music, Scripture meditation, and restorative tones—created to help you breathe deep, be still, and refocus your heart on Jesus.
Enjoy a light breakfast as we gather, then bring a yoga mat or blanket and get comfortable as you rest in God’s presence.
Cost: $15 per person
Childcare: available for ages 4 and under for $10 per child
Youth Winter Camp
Ready to slide down a snow-covered tube run? Encounter Jesus? Deepen friendships with students in your Youth Group?
Junior High & High School Combo Winter Camp is THE place for 6-12th grade campers to get away from the academic and social pressures and instead focus on their identity in Christ. Students will discover who God has made them to be through teaching from God’s Word, small group discussions, and relevant worship.

Missions Forward: An Evening with Christian Mungai
Join us at Good Shepherd for a special evening gathering with dinner and an inspiring message from Christian Mungai, author and Global Engagement Pastor.
Over the next few years, one of our main focuses as a church is to reach and serve our local community. This evening is designed to help us live out our mission to know Jesus deeply, live life authentically, and lead others to Him.
Christian will share insights on cultivating meaningful local and global partnerships that create lasting impact, giving us perspective as we continue to grow in our outreach and mission together as a church family.
Come ready to be encouraged, challenged, and invited into what God has called us to do. Dinner is provided to those who RSVP.
Christmas Sunday with GS Jr High
Jr High (6th–8th grade)! 🎄 This Sunday is our last Jr High gathering of the year—and we’re going out sweet. Gingerbread house competition, Christmas treats, and all the festive chaos. Wear your Christmas sweater and come hang!

Young adults (18–30ish), you’re invited to our Young Adult Christmas Party on Tuesday, December 17 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the Youth Room. Wear your best Christmas sweater and come enjoy community, conversation, and Christmas fun together!

Sharpies Christmas Melodies, Memories & Merriment
Join the Sharpies for a festive lunchtime gathering with ham provided. When you register, please sign up to bring a salad, potato, veggie, or dessert to share. We’ll play games, sing carols, and share favorite Christmas memories together.
Instead of a monetary donation, we’re collecting items for our partner LOTS—please bring travel-size body wash, combs, or hand sanitizer.
Parents' Night Out: Christmas Edition
For kids from birth through 5th grade
Need a night out? We’ve got you covered! Drop your kids off at Good Shepherd for a fun-filled evening of games, movies, popcorn, and more while you enjoy a well-deserved night out. Our team of trusted staff and preschool teachers will be there to provide a safe, playful environment for your little ones.

Serve Project: Life on the Streets Breakfast
Join us for Life on the Streets (LOTS), a heartfelt ministry dedicated to serving those experiencing homelessness in Costa Mesa. Together, we provide essential services like warm meals, laundry, and clothing, offering support and kindness to those who need it most. Whether you're called to lend a hand, prep a meal, or simply listen to a story, your presence can make a powerful difference. Step into this community of care and compassion—come serve with us and experience the joy of giving back.

Love Irvine Citywide Serve Day
Good Shepherd is excited to join with churches, nonprofits, schools, and community partners across our city for Love Irvine’s 5th Annual Citywide Serve Day! This nationwide Love Our Cities movement connects people who want to make a difference with organizations that serve those in need.
We encourage you to pick a serve project across the city and get involved.
Be sure to begin your morning of the serve project at 7:30am at the Woodbridge Center and stop by the Good Shepherd booth!
Men's Breakfast
Join us for a powerful morning of food, fellowship, and real conversation at our next Men’s Breakfast—Salty Talks with the Steinhousers. Hear from three generations of Steinhouser men—Joe, Justin, and Jacob—as they share their stories, lessons learned, and the ways faith has shaped their family across the years.
Our theme, “All Generations,” from our SALTY Core Values, invites men of every age and stage to gather around the table and grow together. We’ll talk about what it takes to build strong relationships, navigate conflict, and lead one another in faith and brotherhood.
Whether you’re 18 or 80, this morning is for you. Come hungry, leave encouraged, and be part of a conversation that unites us as men following Christ.

Bring the whole family for a night of fall fun at Good Shepherd’s annual Trunk or Treat! Kids can trick-or-treat from creatively decorated trunks and enjoy games, crafts, a cake walk, photo ops, caramel apples, and pizza for dinner. This event is free to attend, but space is limited—registration is required and closes October 12.
Adults, you can be part of the fun too! Help us welcome our community by donating candy, decorating a trunk, or serving during the event. Every bag of candy and every hour of service makes it possible for us to create a safe, joy-filled space where families experience the love of Christ in practical and meaningful ways.

GS Youth Movie Night
Take a midweek break and join us for Youth Movie Night! We’ll enjoy dinner together, kick back with a movie, and of course—have plenty of popcorn. Invite your friends and come hang out for a fun and relaxing night at church.
Journey Through Loss
Loss takes many forms—whether through the death of a loved one, a move, job change, empty nest, or another life transition. Wherever you find yourself, you don’t have to walk the journey alone.
In this four-week course, we’ll explore practical tools and spiritual encouragement for navigating grief: understanding different types of loss, learning survival tips and healthy ways to process, discovering what grief can teach us about compassion and faith, and finding hope in creating a “new normal.” Together, we’ll create space for honest conversation, Scripture, and support as we lean on Christ and one another.
Come as you are, and allow this journey to be a step toward healing and renewed hope.

Salty Kickoff Sunday
We’re launching into a brand-new ministry year with a special SALTY Kickoff Sunday on September 7! This morning marks the start of our new sermon series, SALTY, and a fresh season of energy, purpose, and life together at Good Shepherd. Between services, join us on the patio for a salty, sandy celebration with açaí bowls and community connection as we align on our mission and core values. It’s the perfect time to dive back in, reconnect, and discover what it means to be the salt of the earth. Adult Bible Study will kick off their new year the following week, September 14.
