Fall Kick Off

Join us on Sunday, September 8, as we kick off the Fall Season at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church & Preschool! It's a day to celebrate the return of all our beloved ministries—Confirmation, Bible Study, and FLOCK Sunday School are back in full swing, along with some exciting new gatherings for the fall.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Stick around after worship for an all-church community event. We’ll be enjoying lunch together, followed by games and activities for all ages. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with old friends and make new ones as we head into this new season.

To help us plan accordingly, we kindly ask that you register in advance so we can ensure there’s plenty of food for everyone.

5% All Church Serve: Marine Deployment Bags

The Bible calls each of us to serve – within our church, within the community and throughout the world. As part of our commitment to the 5% Life, we acknowledge spending 2% of our year in service - and we invite you to join us in doing so!

For the month of June, all ages are invited to join us in putting together 100 Deployment Bags for the Marines in the 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines. Every 6-8 months a battery from the 2/11 Battalion at Camp Pendleton is designated for overseas duty for 6-8 months, usually to Okinawa Japan. The trip to Japan is a long journey and we want to send them off well! Join us on the Church Patio between services on Sunday, June 30 to create these packages and write a thank you note to the Marines serving our country.
