Kids, get ready for a thrilling expedition as we explore God’s creation, grow in faith, and build friendships along the way at Vacation Bible School with Good Shepherd Irvine. Venture through exciting Bible-learning adventures, belt out catchy campfire songs, craft creative keepsakes, and tackle action-packed games that will put your teamwork to the test. And with all the hands-on fun, be prepared to get a little messy—so dress for adventure in clothes you can move in, plus those sturdy closed-toe shoes!

Oh, and don’t forget to wear your provided VBS shirt—it’s essential gear for this wild expedition! But wait, there’s more: we’ll also spread warmth and kindness with a special outreach project, sharing Jesus’ love with our community.

FAQs

  • Vacation Bible School is a summer gathering hosted by Good Shepherd where children typically learn about the Bible through games, crafts, songs, and other activities. It's open to Kids age 5 by 6/16/25 to 5th grade Fall 2025.

  • For our pre-K through 5th grade kids, VBS takes place from Monday, June 16 through Friday, June 20, 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

    If you are currently enrolled in a Full Day program at Good Shepherd Preschool, your child will participate in VBS-themed activities all week long!

  • Early Bird Pricing is offered through May 1 at the rate of $60 per child. We bump up to Late Pricing at $75 per child beginning May 2. Registration closes on May 12.

    Children enrolled in our Preschool Full Day program will not pay additional costs to participate.

  • Kids age 5 by 6/16/25 to 5th grade Fall 2025 are invited to participate in our VBS program.

    For those who are older and would like to be involved, we have volunteer opportunities for you! Complete the registration form linked above to let us know you are interested in volunteering.

  • If your child is currently enrolled in Good Shepherd Preschool’s Full Day Program, you do NOT need to register. Your child will be participating in “True North” themed happenings all week long as part of their Preschool weekly schedule.

    For our children who will be graduating from Good Shepherd Preschool, we invite you to register! If your child is age 5 by 6/16/25 and/or they have a older sibling who is interested in attending, you can register by clicking the button above.

  • Yes! We have a variety of snacks, with gluten-free and dairy-free options available depending on your child’s needs. All snacks are nut-free as we are a nut-free campus.

    We kindly ask that you notify us of any allergies upon registering your child.

  • There are LOTS of ways you can get involved as part of VBS! Whether it be preparing stage decor, being a crew leader, or serving snacks - we have a place for you!
